True Grit (2010) Review

Not as good as the original and feels a bit rushed. Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon feel out of place and poorly used. The villains were fantastic though especially Josh Brolin. The original is far superior with John Wayne, Kim Darby and Glen Campbell. Hailee Steinfeld does a good job as Mattie Ross as well. With that said though I would suggest giving this one a miss and watch the 1969 version.

Schindler's List (1993) Review

One of the saddest and best movies I have ever seen. Liam Neeson does a marvelous performance as Oskar Schindler. I think I will remember this film for a long time but it's one of those films I will watch only once.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) Review

For someone who is coming into this without reading the book. I was a bit lost at first but then I started to understand what was going on about an hour and half in. I probably should have read the book first. But I still enjoyed the film. Both Craig and Rooney Mara were fantastic in it. Though I still don't know who much about who Lisbeth is If they get round to filming the other books I hope they explain a bit more.

Dredd (2012) Review

Wow just wow. Karl Urban is Dredd hands down. The style of this film the action the story all of it is what Dredd is meant to be. The 90s Judge Dredd with Stallone is not Judge Dredd. I can't praise this movie enough. Its so brilliantly done. I want a sequel. I hope they do make one.

Who knew that by only just having the plot set in a building (Block) could be so awesome.

So I will just finish off by saying "I am the Law"

Day of the Dead (1985) Review

Not as good as the Night of the living Dead and Dawn of the Dead. But still enjoyable.

Robocop (2014) Review

So a remake of RoboCop or can you call it a remake? I like to think of it as a re-imagining of robocop.

They did a great job with it as well, with well known actors and a great script. Though some people may not like certain things about the movie. As for me I only have one complaint and that there is one action packed scene where robocop is fighting some soldiers and the room is in complete darkness that you can't really see anything, the time you see things is when the camera goes into first person or the gun flashes light up the room. But that's my only real complaint with the film besides that I loved it

this film is great but confusing. Its just one massive mind-screw right from the beginning and i'm still trying to figure it out.

Jake Gyllenhaal knocks it out of the park in this film and I'm really glad I saw it.

I guess the only thing spoilery thing I will say is how do you stop a bomb that has already exploded?

A hilarious film, this film had me laughing a lot . Apparently the deaths in this film were real. Yet they somehow manage to make them funny.
I recommend watching this film. Also there is a great cameo during the film that everyone should know.

Skyfall (2012) Review

Daniel Craig's best bond film so far. Skyfall celebrates 50 years and it's done right with tons of references to previous bond films, Skyfall goes full circle starting from Casino Royale and ending here. We have everyone's origin stories now so let's make Spectre its own story.
